Beautifully soft with a stunning blend of satin & matt fibres. The Polwarth base provides a gentle touch with a streak of silk & shine added by the addition of bamboo.

When subjected to dyeing, this yarn truly shines. The distinctive reaction of bamboo and wool to dyes results in a mesmerizing marl effect, adding an extra dimension to its beauty.

  • These hanks are designed for hand dyers but you can still knit with them in their natural shade without dyeing. They haven’t been steamed which means they contain a little bit of spinning oil and may need a first wash if you’re not dyeing them to return to their soft & bouncy nature. But don’t worry, a gentle bath in some warm water will remove the oil and bring out the natural characteristics of the yarn.
